The museum is dedicated to the history of techniques since the 16th century. You will there discover many things about scientific instruments, materials, construction, communication, energy, mechanics and transport.
It is located in the former abbey of Saint-Martin-des-Champs. Do not forget to take a look at the nearest subway station "Arts and Métiers", inspired by the Nautilus of Jules Verne.
