Dr. Alexis Archambeau (1986) graduated as an engineer from ESPCI in 2010 before pursuing his doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr. Christophe Meyer and Pr. Janine Cossy (ESPCI ParisTech), where he studied the reactivity of cyclopropenes with transition metal catalysts, obtaining his PhD in 2013. After postdoctoral studies in the groups of Tomislav Rovis (Colorado State University, USA) and Jacques Maddaluno (IRCOF), he began his independent career as a CNRS researcher at the Laboratoire de Synthèse Organique (LSO) of the École polytechnique. His research group is interested in the development of new cycloaddition methods involving organometallic catalysis for the preparation of original heterocycles.
