"The Innovation Challenge: Bridging Research, Industry and Society".

Paris, 19-21 June 2019

As a part of the R&D Management Conference that will be held in Paris on 19–21 June 2019 at École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, we are issuing a call for Special Track Proposals.
Relevant themes include all those covered in the past R&D Management conferences, as well as topics that closely relate to the main theme of the 2019 conference: “The Innovation Challenge: Bridging Research, Industry and Society” In particular, the following topics are of interest:

  • Open Innovation and Co-creation
  • Open Social Innovation and Inclusive Innovation
  • User Innovation and Household Innovation
  • Adoption and diffusion of deep-tech (e.g. Autonomous Vehicles, Additive Manufacturing/3D printing, Blockchain, IoT, Machine Learning, Biotech, Nanotech)
  • Innovation Policy
  • Education for Innovation
  • Innovation in Emerging countries and reverse Innovation
  • Innovation spaces, such as Fab Labs, makerspaces and co-working spaces
  • Innovation and regulation
  • Energy transition and ecology
  • ‘Dark sides’ of innovation
  • Democratisation of innovation

Selected tracks will be allocated one or several (depending on to the response to the call for abstract) 1.5h slots. Normally, such slots correspond to four paper presentations, however, we are open to other formats (e.g. round tables, pitches, workshops). The role of the track chairs is to promote their track to enable a sufficient number of high quality submissions (accepted tracks will also be advertised in the conference call for paper and on the conference website), to oversee and conduct the review process of the abstracts submitted for their track, and to chair the sessions dedicated to the track during the conference.

While not a requirement, we strongly welcome application from multi-country and multidisciplinary teams!

Please submit your track proposal using the link below by November 26, 2018 .
