Mottis Nicolas
Nicolas Mottis is Professor at Ecole Polytechnique (Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department). He created and directed the school's new executive program - the Executive Master - from 2016 to 2022. He obtained a PhD in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique in 1993 and a HDR from Université Paris Dauphine in 2000. His research focuses on performance management (governance, strategic planning, business plans, socially responsible investment, CSR, etc.) and innovation management (high-tech project management, start-up launches, etc.). He is the author of several books and numerous academic and professional publications in these fields. He is head of the Management & Human Sciences Department of the Institut Polytechnique Paris Doctoral School. He is Board Member of the FIR (French Social Investment Forum), Member of the Scientific Committee of Finansol-FAIR, and Member of the AMF (French Financial Market Regulator) Climate and Sustainable Finance Commission. He is also member of the board of the Ecole de Paris du Management since 2008 and of Fondation Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders Foundation) since 2019.
