Dr. Max von Zedtwitz is a professor of International Business and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School, with visiting appointments at KTU in Lithuania and the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He is also Managing Director of the Research Center for Global R&D and Innovation (GLORAD) and an Area Editor for Technovation. His academic career includes positions as professor of technology management at Tsinghua University in Beijing and IMD in Switzerland. He also built (and later sold) a technology intelligence firm in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and he served as a vice president/associate partner with PRTM Management Consultants in Shanghai. He obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich, and an MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen. He consults and publishes on global innovation and China.
