The healthcare sector is the subject of numerous analyses linked to the digitisation of data. This raises questions about both methods (data standardisation, deep learning methods) and uses (improving patient care, relationship with professional expertise). The CMAP (Applied Mathematics) and CRG (Management Research) laboratories at the Ecole Polytechnique have jointly created a research chair on this subject. The chair, held respectively by Etienne Minvielle (i3) and Marc Lavielle (CMAP), has been launched for a period of 3 years (2021-2023), and is funded by Sanofi.  The aim of the chair is to develop an optimal framework for the deployment of Artificial Intelligence and digital technology in the organisation of patient care.
