Jonathan Langlois and his thesis supervisors win the HEC Foundation's best paper award

Jonathan Langlois, who wrote his thesis at CRG, Romaric Servajean Hilst and Sihem Ben Mahmoud-Jouini, his thesis supervisors, received the HEC Foundation's 2024 Best Paper Award for their research entitled: Practicing secrecy in open innovation -: Practicing secrecy in open innovation – The case of a military firm is devoted to the study of open innovation management in the defense sector.
This article is linked to Jonathan Langlois' thesis entitled “Les dynamiques de management du secret de l'innovation ouverte : le cas de l'industrie de défense”. This work, which draws on the literature in management and the sociology of secrecy, highlighted the way in which the deployment of an open innovation strategy within a large company called into question the internal regulation of secrecy within this organization, generating specific tensions for the individuals involved.
