On the occasion of the “Modularity: Past and Future” session at the AOM 2023 conference, Mr. Alochet presented the main findings of the article “Mirroring in production? Early evidence from the scale-up of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)“ published in the ICC special issue ‘The Power of Modularity Today: 20 Years of ’Design Rules””.
This session, chaired by J.Henkel, recalled the main principles underlying the theory of modularity, with contributions from C.Baldwin, J.P.MacDuffie, C.Fang, M. G. Jacobides and R.Sanchez, as well as each author of an article in the special issue, to present the main results.
