The laboratory is present in three main areas of application (energy, transport and mechanics of living systems) thanks to
long-term collaborations with large national industrials, with research organizations turned towards the energy sectors and by its participation
in the Mechanics and Living Systems action of the Mechanics department of the École Polytechnique.
