Our Team consists of six dedicated professionals committed to anticipating and meeting the audiovisual needs of École Polytechnique. Our mission is to deliver high-quality audiovisual services that enhance the experience of faculty, students, staff, and external speakers alike.

We support audiovisual projects from initial consultation through to final delivery, while also providing technical support and ensuring the reliability and upkeep of all audiovisual systems across the campus.

Our Core Activities

Audiovisual Consulting, Planning and Production : We are involved at every stage of audiovisual projects, from assessing requirements and designing solutions to preparing installations and delivering tailored services for lectures, conferences, events, and special projects.
Installation and Technical Support : We install and maintain audiovisual systems in lecture halls, classrooms, and dedicated event spaces such as the Board Room and Boncourt Hall. Our team also provides on-site technical assistance during classes, conferences, ceremonies, and other events.

Equipment Management and Operations : We oversee a wide range of audiovisual technologies, including:

Sound reinforcement systems
Video recording and streaming solutions
Stage lighting
Videoconferencing systems
Distance learning technologies

These resources enable us to provide customized solutions for a variety of academic and event-related needs.

Facilities We Support

15 Lecture halls ranging in capacity from 50 to 780 seats
62 fully equipped classrooms
A professional audio studio dedicated to podcast production, voice-over recording, and audiobook creation
Event and reception spaces, including the Board Room, Boncourt Hall, the Honor Lounge, and the Shared Teaching Building (BEM)

Areas of Expertise

Audio Engineering : Design, operation, and optimization of sound systems for conferences, performances, ceremonies, and institutional events.
Video Production and Recording : Recording, live streaming, and on-demand broadcasting of lectures, conferences, events, and academic content.
Stage Lighting : Lighting design and operation for performances, ceremonies, presentations, and special events.
Videoconferencing and Remote Learning : Implementation and management of hybrid and remote learning solutions, virtual meetings, and live online conferences.
Audio and Video Editing : Post-production services for educational content, interviews, reports, and institutional media projects.

Supporting Major Events Across Campus

Beyond our day-to-day activities, we actively contribute to the organization and technical delivery of many of École Polytechnique’s flagship events, working closely with institutional partners and internal departments.

Institutional Events : We provide technical expertise for conventions, scientific conferences such as Teratec and Spring, and outreach initiatives including the Science Festival.
IP Paris Events : We support graduation ceremonies, student performances such as Dance 4U, and high-profile conferences including Euroleads.
Collaboration with School Departments and Laboratories : We work alongside numerous departments, research laboratories, and partner organizations (AX, FX, DFHM, CASEP, and others) to support conferences, symposiums, video productions, and major institutional events.
Student Activities : We assist student organizations with film screenings, theatrical productions, conferences, and a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Additional Responsibilities - Administrative Management

Our team manages procurement procedures, requests for proposals, quotations, and technology watch activities to ensure that the School benefits from the latest audiovisual innovations.

Multimedia Content Production : We produce video reports, record laboratory experiments, conduct interviews, and provide post-production services for a variety of internal projects.
Audio Studio Services : Our expertise includes podcast production, voice-over recording, and audiobook creation.

Technical Help Desk

We provide responsive technical support and rapid intervention in classrooms and lecture halls to minimize disruptions and ensure uninterrupted teaching and event operations.
