An international consortium of research laboratories has combined a variety of techniques to elucidate the functioning of a new photoenzyme FAP (Fatty Acid Photodecarboxylase), with great potential for green chemistry applications. LOB scientists have made important contributions by exploiting advanced time-resolved spectroscopic techniques and simulations. This discovery is published in Science on 09/04/2021.
