• Space is an attractive field, as much for the dream of space exploration and scientific discoveries as for its economic and strategic importance in terms of national sovereignty.

• The students have a strong taste for space and the student association AstronautiX is very active. The École Polytechnique has a Student Space Center directed by a research engineer.

• The objective of the advanced courses « Science et Défis du Spatial » is to perfect the training of tomorrow's aerospace professionals by offering excellent teaching in space-related subjects. To achieve this, the PA « Science et Défis du Spatial » offers high-level courses in physics, mechanics, applied mathematics and computer science to students in the 3rd year of the polytechnic engineering cycle.
