Presentation
The Morphoscope2 project aims at developing and operating an innovation facility for optical imaging and image analysis of living systems. It is funded by a major grant from the National Agency for Research (ANR) through the "Investments for the future / EQUIPEX" program. It integrates cutting-edge technology in photonic microscopy and computational analysis dedicated to in vivo multiscale investigations in biology.
This original platform with emphasis on technology development and innovation is hosted by the research center of Ecole Polytechnique, one of the funding members of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, in the Paris-Saclay area. The project is coordinated by Dr. Emmanuel Beaurepaire from the Lab for Optics and Biosciences (LOB) and assembles a large multidisciplinary group of investigators from several research institutes.
During the first stage of the project, imaging and analysis methods are being developed by the developing partners. When validated, methods are opened to additional applicative projects through Polytechnique and partners’ facilities.
Equipment phase: 2013-2022.
