The department of computer science of École polytechnique invites applications for an assistant professor or a full professor, carrying out a research project in all the areas related to cybersecurity.
We are looking for an excellent researcher in a subfield of cybersecurity, at the best international level as attested by publications in the top-level journals and conferences of the field. The candidate is expected to present a detailed scientific project demonstrating how his/her research will strengthen one of the teams of the Efficient and Secure Communications research group of our Computer Science laboratory (LIX). The research areas of the candidate can thus be (but are not limited to): data networks, digital communication, architecture security, computer forensics, cryptography and applications, ...
On the teaching side, the candidate should be able to contribute to the core computer science curriculum (bachelor and first years of the engineering cycle) by integrating into the existing teaching teams and to the new cybersecurity programs (cybersecurity bachelor in partnership with Epita, and a MScT offered on premises). Being able to teach secure programming or digital forensic would be appreci-ated, as well as the ability to develop project-based teaching, enabling to strengthen links between teaching, research and applications. Being fluent in French is a plus, but not required.
