The DIX is located on the École Polytechnique campus, in the southern suburbs of Paris. It occupies half of the Alan Turing Building. The address of the Department is:

*The Alan Turing Building is open to visitors Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Due to the security measures enforced by the Vigipirate Plan, visitors must leave a form of ID at reception and be accompanied by a member of the DIX.
