The Computer Science Department would like to congratulate the three teams of students who represented l’X at the SWERC 2018 (Southwestern Regional Contest) programming contest, which took place at Telecom ParisTech from December 1 to 2, 2018.

Our three teams enjoyed great success:

• The EP red team came in at 7^th place, winning a bronze medal.
• The EP white team came in at 19^th place.
• The EP blue team came in at 20^th place.

A total of 89 teams took part, coming from 49 institutions across southwest Europe (France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Israel). Our three teams were among the six best French teams in the competition. The full ranking is available here.
