Meet the organizers
Thierry Rayna is Professor of Innovation Management at École Polytechnique, within the Department of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (MIE), and Fellow of Management Research Centre (CRG) of the CNRS Innovation Interdisciplinary Institute (i3). Beforehand,he spent 10 years in the UK, where he held positions at the University of Cambridge, the LSE, UCL and Imperial College London. Prof. Rayna is a Digital Economy specialist and his research investigates the radical changes that digital technologies (e.g. 3D Printing, IoT, A.I., Blockchain) brings about to businesses, industries, and the economy as a whole. Prof. Rayna has served as an advisor for companies in the cultural and creative industries, telecom companies, as well as for policymakers. He also mentors start-ups. Thierry Rayna is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Manufacturing Technology & Management.
Sihem Ben Mahmoud-Jouini is Associate professor at HEC Paris. She holds a PhD from University Paris 9 Dauphine and carries out her research at the Management Research Center (CRG) of École Polytechnique, a part of the CNRS Innovation Interdisciplinary Institute (i3), where she is an associated researcher. She has been visiting fellow at both Stern Business School (NYU) and Babson College. She is interested in the management of exploration and organizational ambidexterity, creativity, design and international management of innovation. Her research has been published in outlets such as Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Journal of Technology Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, Management International, International Journal of Project Management.
