, 2026. A stacking search for high-energy astrophysical neutrino emission is presented using three candidate source populations: ultra-luminous infrared galaxies and two categories of blazars, specifically high-synchrotron-peaked BL Lacs and extreme blazars. The analysis is based on 336 days of data from the Astroparticle Research with Cosmics in the Abyss component of the KM3NeT research infrastructure (KM3NeT/ARCA), collected with detector configurations comprising 19-21 detection units, yielding 1544 selected track-like neutrino candidates. The sample of ultra-luminous infrared galaxies consists of 75 sources, for which conventional power-law spectra are assumed in modelling their signal emission. The blazar samples comprise 232 high-synchrotron-peaked BL Lac objects and 88 extreme synchrotron-peaked emitters, respectively. Their expected neutrino fluxes are obtained from numerical tools constrained by multi-wavelength observational data. No statistically significant excess above the atmospheric background is found for the three catalogues and 90% confidence level upper limits are set.

, 2026. We report on the search performed for a diffuse astrophysical neutrino flux from the full sky and from a specific region of the Galactic plane, the Galactic Ridge. The study uses the dataset collected with the first KM3NeT/ARCA configurations with 6, 8, 19, and 21 active detection units, corresponding to a total livetime of 640 days. For the all-sky analysis, the fitted single-flavour astrophysical neutrino flux parameters, under the single power-law assumption, are $ϕ_0^{1f} = 3.0^{+2.1}_{-2.0} \times 10^{-18}$ GeV$^{-1}$ cm$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$ sr$^{-1}$ with spectral index $γ= 3.00^{+0.30}_{-0.35}$ at 68% credible level. The Galactic Ridge fit does not yield constraints for the flux parameters with the current sensitivity. For both analyses upper limits are derived and compared with state-of-the-art measurements. While the analysis of these datasets has not yielded statistically significant results, the developed methods provide a solid basis for future measurements with the KM3NeT detector.

PTEP, 2026, 2026 (1), pp.013D01. This paper presents high-precision experimental data of the polarization of the $\Lambda$ hyperon in the $\pi^{-}p \to K^{0} \Lambda$ reaction, measured in the angular range $0.6<\cos \theta ^{CM}_{K0}<1.0$ with a fine bin width of $d\cos \theta ^{CM}_{K0}=0.05$. The data were obtained from the J-PARC E40 experiment at the K1.8 beamline in the J-PARC Hadron Experimental Facility. The observed average polarization of $\Lambda$ in the range $0.60<\cos \theta ^{CM}_{K0}<0.85$ was $0.932 \pm 0.058 \,(\text{stat}) \pm 0.028 \,(\text{syst})$, demonstrating the successful extraction of precise polarization observables. This result provides essential experimental input for partial wave analysis (PWA) of dynamical coupled-channel (DCC) models, which aim to uncover the underlying mechanisms of $N^{*}$ resonances that emerge in intermediate states of $\pi N$ and $\gamma N$ interactions. Besides, it indicates the feasibility of a strongly polarized $\Lambda$ beam suitable for future $\Lambda p$ scattering experiments (e.g., J-PARC E86). (10.1093/ptep/ptaf168)
