Mette Praest Knudsen is Professor of Innovation Management, University of Southern Denmark, Denmark where she is Head of Research for the Center for Integrative Innovation Management. She is part-time Professor at the Chair Technology for Change and the CRG at the Ecole Polytechnique.

Recherche/Research

The research of MPK integrates market, management and technological perspectives on the innovation processes. These perspectives are particularly relevant in relation to the creative development of new ideas searching for full commercialization to achieve competitive advantages. The focus on commercialization has proven particularly useful in relation to emerging technologies with unknown market potential as for instance with collaborative robots, innovative drone technologies and green technologies. The most recent projects are interested in specifying and analyzing recent transformative technologies and how they support sustainability and creation of markets for technologies like industry 4.0, autonomous systems, drones, and additive manufacturing.
