CNRS and CEA, in agreement with the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, have set up a national network of accelerators dedicated to material irradiation. This network consists of 5 platforms with unique equipments and specific expertises.

- Provide academic and industrial researchers from the national and international communities access to irradiation facilities and online characterisation
- Provide scientific expertise on ageing of materials, material science, …
- Foster instrumental developments
- Organize training (workshops, academic training,...) and outreach.
