Chiara Stringari received the Young Investigator Grant 2017 from the prestigious Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP). The winner is a member of one of the 30 research teams that received the award, out of more than 1000 applications received. HFSP's Young Investor Grant honours the research project "Chromatin dynamics and nuclear metabolism: an intimate interplay uncovered by non-linear optics" conducted in collaboration with biologist Lorena Aguilar-Arnal of the Autonomous University of Mexico. Chiara Stingari was awarded a $750K grant over three years to carry out her interdisciplinary research project.
