This thematic gathers together skills and knowledges of the laboratory to synthesize and characterize original molecular architectures, unknown compounds or molecular assemblies with new properties. In-house analytical tools allow to access structural information (constitutional, conformational, stereochemistry) and their electronic structures, in the condensed and gas phase. To this end, several expertises can be identified: synthesis, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, computational modelisation and simulation, and mass spectrometry.
