Chair Management Innovation (MI-X)
Launched in 2005, the IM-X Chair brings together industry and researchers, major partners include: Air Liquide, MBDA, Renault, SEB Group, Safran, and Valeo. By collaborating with industries the aim is for cooperation on research and common teaching, on the theme of innovation management. The contributions are numerous, from research funding and lessons, to privileged access to innovative forms of management in experimental fields, use and dissemination of research results in the industrial and academic world, and enrichment of the content of teaching to bring full awareness of the challenges that future professionals will likely face.
The issues addressed are in the scope of:
• Innovation strategies,
• Product design
• The management of innovative projects
For the Ecole Polytechnique, the MI-X Chair participates in a proactive policy with the industrial world. This partnership allows training young practitioners in the fields of innovative design through the Master 2 PIC ( Project, Innovation, Design).
