Minimum academic requirements for entry into year 1
Applicants must hold or expect to hold prior to the beginning of the program, at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a degree.
|IoT: Innovation & Management||Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or "Diplôme d'ingénieur"|
|Corporate Strategy in New Markets||Bachelor's degree in Economics and/or Mathematics, or "Diplôme d'ingénieur"|
|Energy Environment||Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, Mechanical Engineering or Physics or "Diplôme d'ingénieur"|
|Metroeconomics||Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Civil Engineering and/or Transportation Studies, or "Diplôme d'ingénieur"|
Candidates with other degrees may be considered, provided that they have a strong background in the above-mentioned subjects. Please note that Ecole Polytechnique is ranked in the world's Top20 in Mathematics, therefore the level in Mathematics is particularly high in all academic programs. Do not hesitate to indicate in your personal statement all the relevant courses that you have followed (including courses in Mathematics).

The admission committee will assess the relevance and quality of the bachelor's degree. The Graduate Point Average (GPA), the individual grades for the courses, class rank and any academic awards will also be taken into account.
Minimum academic requirements for entry into year 2
Two academic programs may offer a direct entry into the second year:

(The other graduate degree programs offer admission to the first year only.)
Admission in year 2 is highly selective and students must meet the following minimum requirements:
|Corporate Strategy in New Markets||Master's degree or M1 in Economics with emphasis on Quantitative Economics, or "Diplôme d'ingénieur" with a strong background in Quantitative Economics.|
|Energy Environment||Master's degree or M1 in Applied Physics or Mechanics, Energy or Environment or "Diplôme d'ingénieur" with a major in Energy, Environment, Physics, Mechanics or Electrical Engineering.|
