"Long-time asymptotics of the 1D damped nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations"

Abstract: In this talk, I shall discuss recent results concerning the multi-soliton long-time asymptotics of solutions of the 1D damped nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. We have shown that any global solution has multi-soliton behavior in large time. This is joint work with Raphaël Côte (IRMA) and Yvan Martel (CMLS).
